Key Points
- Mohit Aron raises $44 million to launch SaiFin, an enterprise AI platform that aggregates scattered context for go-to-market teams, addressing what he estimates as 80% wasted meeting time on information gathering.
- Aron's pitch to investors follows a single throughline: Nutanix converged infrastructure, Cohesity converged data, SaiFin will converge context across dispersed tools and people.
- Aron positions SaiFin against earlier AI SDR tools as solving the root problem those tools exposed: GTM teams operating without reliable context, which buyers rightly distrusted.
Summary
Read full transcript →Mohit Aron has raised $44 million to launch SaiFin, an enterprise AI company targeting what he calls the "context gap" in go-to-market operations.
Aron's pitch rests on a pattern he spotted running his previous two companies. Go-to-market teams make decisions without enough context — that context is scattered across tools, locked in people's heads, and frequently out of date. His estimate: roughly 80% of meeting time goes toward gathering information rather than acting on it. AI, in his framing, finally makes it tractable to solve.
The product aggregates that dispersed context automatically, keeps humans in the loop to prevent hallucination, and surfaces answers in real time so reps and managers can ask questions directly rather than scheduling another sync. Aron describes it as three things at once: automated data gathering, accuracy validation, and real-time coaching.
“My last company was called Cohesity, and the one before that was called Nutanix. Both of them fortunately are doing north of a billion dollars in ARR. The pitch was: in my first company, I brought together converged infrastructure; in the second, I converged data; I'm here to converge context for go-to-market teams. How much did I raise? $44,000,000.”
Track record
The fundraise was straightforward by any measure. Aron previously founded Nutanix and Cohesity, both of which now generate more than $1 billion in ARR. Nutanix is public; Cohesity is not yet. His pitch to investors was a single logical throughline: Nutanix converged infrastructure, Cohesity converged data, SaiFin will converge context.
Market and positioning
Aron says the problem exists across company sizes, though his natural home is large enterprise. He frames the earlier wave of AI SDR tools as a symptom of the same underlying issue — GTM teams operating without reliable context — rather than a solution to it. The gap between what those tools promised and what buyers trusted them to do came down to exactly that: AI acting without the relational and situational context that closes deals and preserves customer relationships.
His stated priority hasn't changed from his earlier companies: it's the people — inside the company and in the customer base.
